Terms of Service

Last updated: August 20, 2026

These Terms govern your use of RECORD Scan, a companion utility for capturing notebook pages, creating PDFs, and saving them to a Google Drive account you authorize.

Acceptable use

You may use RECORD Scan only for lawful purposes. You are responsible for the content you scan, convert, and upload and for ensuring you have the right to use that content.

Your Google Drive

Files are saved to the Google Drive account you authorize. You are responsible for your Google Account, available storage, file organization, backups, and account security.

Service availability

RECORD Scan may be changed, interrupted, updated, or discontinued. Continuous or error-free availability is not guaranteed.

No guarantee of file preservation

You should verify that each PDF has successfully reached your Google Drive. Maintain your own backups of important material.

Third-party services

RECORD Scan relies on services provided by Google and web-hosting providers. Their own terms and availability may affect RECORD Scan.

Limitation

To the extent permitted by law, RECORD Scan is provided as-is without warranties of uninterrupted operation, permanent file preservation, or fitness for a particular purpose.

Changes

These Terms may be updated as the service changes. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised Terms.
