Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 20, 2026

RECORD Scan helps users capture notebook pages, convert those images into PDF files, and save the resulting PDFs to the user's own Google Drive.

Google Drive access

RECORD Scan requests the Google Drive drive.file permission. This permission is used only to create and manage files that you choose to save through RECORD Scan. RECORD Scan does not request broad access to unrelated files in your Google Drive.

Images and PDFs

Images you select are processed in your browser to create a PDF. The PDF is then uploaded to the Google Drive account you authorize. RECORD Scan is designed not to keep a separate server-side copy of your scans.

Google user data

RECORD Scan does not sell Google user data and does not use Google user data for advertising. Access is used only to provide the save-to-Google-Drive feature requested by the user.

Sharing

RECORD Scan does not share Google user data with third parties except as necessary to provide the service or comply with applicable law.

Data retention

RECORD Scan is designed so that scanned images are processed in the browser and the resulting PDF is saved to the user's Google Drive. Users are responsible for managing files stored in their own Google Drive.

Revoking access

You can revoke RECORD Scan's access to your Google Account at any time from your Google Account's third-party connections or security settings.

Security

RECORD Scan uses Google's OAuth authorization system. Users should keep control of their own Google Account credentials and devices.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated as RECORD Scan changes. The current version will remain available at this URL.
